AS568-464 FFKM O-Ring — 443.36 × 6.99 mm

A very thick section for the largest diameters and most severe static sealing duties. With an inside diameter of 443.36 mm and a 6.99 mm cross section, this is a very-large seal for the largest diameters and heavy static service. Moulded from Aperflu 2275 perfluoroelastomer (FFKM) for continuous service up to 200 °C, this seal resists hot acids, caustics, solvents, fuels and steam.

Chemical and petrochemical processing

Chemical and petrochemical processing — Aperflu 2275 FFKM O-ring AS568-464

Pumps, valves, reactors and dosing systems handling hot organic and inorganic acids, caustics, ketones, aldehydes, esters, ethers, alcohols, fuels and mixed process streams. Where FKM swells and degrades, this perfluoroelastomer keeps its sealing force and dimensional stability, extending mean time between repairs and cutting unplanned downtime.

Why Aperflu 2275 FFKM

Aperflu 2275 delivers Kalrez-class performance in aggressive media at a factory-direct price, with every AS568 size moulded to order and published unit pricing.

Typical applications

Large-diameter flanges, autoclave and reactor seals, structural static joints, where Aperflu 2275 outperforms FKM and EPDM in aggressive media and elevated temperature.

Chemical resistance

The fully fluorinated backbone of Aperflu 2275 resists the aggressive media that attack FKM, EPDM and silicone — including concentrated hydrochloric, nitric, sulfuric and glacial acetic acids, strong caustics, and a broad range of solvents and fuels.
